1. What does MS Project file import mean?

  • We offer MS Project import to be able to transfer projects to Allex

  • You can import an MS Project file into Allex and continue your project this way

2. How do I import and export an MS Project file?

Import:

  • Create a project or open an already existing project

  • Open the three-dot menu on the upper right side

  • Select "Import MS Project file"

  • Drag a file to the designated area in the "Import MS Project file" dialog

  • Confirm the import with a click on "Import"

  • You can now see the imported data in your project

Export:

  • Create a project or open an already existing project

  • Open the three-dot menu on the upper right side

  • Select "Export MS Project file"

  • You will receive a notification shortly. Go to your email inbox to find the link to your MS Project file

3. Which formats are supported?

  • Allex currently supports the import of the first two levels of a project

  • Supported format: MS Project MPP-file

  • Mapped fields:
