A reminder in Allex is a notification that prompts a user to remember and take action on a specific task or milestone at a designated time in order to avoid project delays.
2. How to set a reminder for tasks, milestones and checklist items
In order to set a reminder for a task or a milestone you should follow the same workflow. Let's have a step-by-step look at it:
Choose and click on the task/ milestone that requires a reminder from the list of tasks
Click on Set Date under Remind me section
Choose your reminder preferences and press Set reminder. You can set reminder for 1 or 2 days or a week before the planned date for the task/ milestone. It is also possible to choose if one needs to be notified before the start or by the end of the planned date of the task.
You can now see the Reminder date in the task card
3. Where to receive reminder notifications
You can adjust your reminder preferences in order to receive notifications in the most convenient way.
Press on your avatar in the bottom left corner and click on My profile
Go to Notifications and find Reminder section. Here you can choose if you want to be notified via email or in Allex (or both)
