1. What should I consider before deleting a project?
It is recommended that you save important project information before deleting it. This ensures that a project can be restored quickly. This includes the following information:
Date and time of deletion
Title of the project
Project-ID and/or project link (includes project ID)
Exported project data from Global search
Note If you have deleted a project in error, any information you have about the project is important for restoring it: be it the title, the person responsible for the project or the time of deletion. |
How do I export project data?
Invoke the Global Search (magnifying glass symbol) from the navigation bar.
Click on the Add filter button to open the advanced filter options.
From the Project drop-down list, select the project whose data you want to export.
Click on Search.
The project and its data are displayed as a search result.Click the Three-Dot-Menu on the top right and select Export to CSV -> Export with resource hours per team.
The export is executed.Keep the exported file in a secure location so that you can access it if required.

2. How can a deleted project be restored?
Allex will restore a deleted project for you.
Note A project can only be restored if the time interval between the date of deletion and the date of restoration is no longer than 90 days. |
If restoration is necessary, proceed as follows:
Compile all the information you have on the deleted project (e.g. the file with the exported data).
Send a request to restore the project to the Allex support team, via support@allex.ai

3. Which data can be restored?
The data available at the time of deletion is restored. This includes, for example, tasks, persons responsible, resource bookings, user-defined fields with their values, etc.
