In this article, you will learn:
1. What is Netplan?
Netplan is a visual representation of your project, showing tasks and their dependencies in a clear, structured way. It helps you plan, track, and manage projects by displaying how tasks relate to each other.
How to Use the Netplan:
View tasks as connected cards to understand the flow of work.
Identify dependencies between tasks using links.
Adjust task sequences by adding or removing links.
Optimize project timelines by reordering tasks based on priorities.
2. How do I add or delete tasks in Netplan?
Adding tasks: Drag and drop tasks into the Netplan using the + Add a new task button.
Deleting tasks: Hover over the task card you want deleted, select the three-dot-menu, and click on delete task.
Moving tasks: Drag-and-drop the desired task card anywhere on the board to move it’s location
3. What is a Link?
Linking tasks in the Netplan creates a dependency between them.
The task the link starts from (predecessor) must be completed before the task the link goes to (successor) can begin.
Links help structure your project by creating a clear sequence of tasks and dependencies.
Note: Any project member with admin or editing permissions can modify links.
